Who we are looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and implement high-tech engineering projects from concept through completion. Projects may include process applications for food, pharmaceutical and chemical applications, or machine design projects for manufacturing. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and exceptional leadership skills to manage the design, fabrication, installation, and debugging of state-of-the-art equipment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple high-tech engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs.
  • Manage projects spanning diverse industries, including energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and industrial products, delivering innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering and trades teams to drive the design, fabrication, installation, and debugging of advanced equipment.
  • Collaborate with and lead internal teams, external partners, and clients, from shop floor associates to the CEO, to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop project proposals and maintain project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation plans to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve challenges.
  • Implement best practices in project management and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
  • Possess a working knowledge of FEL principles, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools and skills.
  • Embrace and follow lean principles and methodologies such as elimination of wase and standard work.

What you bring to the Team

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) from an accredited college or university is preferred. Equivalent technical training and experience will also be considered. Candidates should have a strong foundation in engineering principles, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a project manager leading complex, technically driven initiatives across diverse industries, including energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and industrial products. Demonstrated capability in managing the entire project lifecycle—from planning and risk evaluation to implementation and post-implementation assessment—while meeting industry standards, regulatory demands, and established guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, organizational and time management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work and support a team environment.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where leadership and organizational skills are necessary. Strong interpersonal skills to work and support a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of equipment design, fabrication, and installation processes. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Additional Details:

Travel: 10-25%

Compensation Range: Annual salary for this position is expected to be between $120,000 to $150,000, plus participation in our annual bonus plan and long term incentive plan. The actual pay may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
