The Securities Lending Operations Lead will be responsible for both processing and overseeing the day to day operations of the Securities Lending Operations team. The lead is responsible to assist in the development of the team to ensure a dynamic and efficient Securities Lending Operations team.
As a lead of the team, you will help oversee the team’s compliance to both regulatory and firm policies and procedures. This includes Reg SHO - Rule 204, 15c3-3 possession and control, and other applicable regulations. You will serve as an escalation point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. This includes responsibility for maintaining accurate books and records and overseeing the reconciliation of cash breaks, position differences, and gathering and compiling risk data to ensure proper mitigation. Work closely with internal and vendor technology teams ensuring the system is operating accurately and while leading projects. Provide product knowledge, technical assistance, escalating complex issues to a manager or senior executive.
This role is based in our Lake Mary, FL office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- Ensure regulatory adherence to both regulatory and firm policies
- Adhering to and remaining compliant with Robinhood Securities’ back office related to Written Supervisory Procedures
- Processing Robinhood Securities’ regulatory inquiries, reporting and audits
- Assist management with resolving escalated issues from trading, recalls and buy-ins
- Liaising with compliance, trading, and business management to ensure strategies are implemented and objectives are met
- Acting as a trusted aide de camp to the operations head
- Executing tactics for the day to day operations of the middle office
What you bring

- 5+ years of experience in securities lending operations, buy-ins or related field
- Ability to learn quickly, think critically and apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues and implement process improvements
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment while being trustworthy and self-motivated
- Great communication and relationship management skills
- Passion for Robinhood’s product and our mission to democratize access to our financial systems
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- FINRA Series 24 or within 90 days

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
Base Pay Range:
Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)
$110,500 - $130,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$96,900 - $114,000 USD
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
$85,850 - $101,000 USD
