Robinhood is looking for a skilled International Tax Manager to join our rapidly growing team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This role will be reporting to the Senior Tax Manager and as an international tax specialist you will support our global tax reporting, compliance and financial reporting processes.
This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- Responsible for various US international tax calculation processes, such as GILTI, BEAT, Pillar 2, Sec. 987, DCL, and foreign tax credits
- Responsible for ensuring certain foreign income tax returns are filed timely and accurately
- Assist with the preparation and review of tax supporting documentation
- Support financial modeling in strategic and operational tax planning
- Support worldwide SOX processes and maintain SOX compliance
- Support continuous improvements in international tax accounting processes by exercising out of the box thinking to optimize efficiency, including collaboration with internal process transformation team and other tax specialty groups
- Support the tax department in managing tax audits, payments and any ad hoc projects
- Monitor changes in US and foreign tax law and accounting pronouncements related income tax filings and financial statement presentation of tax related items
- Collaborate across tax, accounting, finance, and other business lines to obtain and analyze information required for projects and ensure completeness and accuracy
What you bring
- 7+ years of corporate tax experience with Big 4 accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
- Possess a solid understanding of ASC 740 principles, as well as foreign tax concepts
- Strong computer skills utilizing MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in financial systems (i.e. Oracle, Hyperion, Smartview, Essbase, data warehouse, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven, dynamic environment
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance, MS in Tax or CPA preferred
- Bonus Points:
- Financial and/or Tech Sector experience
- Experience with Oracle Cloud
- Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
Base Pay Range:
Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)
$140,000 - $165,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$123,000 - $145,000 USD
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
$110,000 - $129,000 USD
