Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Engineer for Whole Vehicle EE System Validation to perform and coordinate validation activities across all Electrical and Electronic systems at the vehicle level. This role is central to ensuring functional integration, robustness, and compliance of EE systems when combined in a full vehicle context. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with in-vehicle testing, a strong understanding of EE architectures (especially zonal), and a collaborative mindset.

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Vehicle-Level Validation Execution

  • Plan, execute, and document whole vehicle EE validation activities—focused exclusively on in-vehicle environments (no test bench or lab testing).
  • Perform system-level functional testing, fault injection, regression testing, and verification of cross-domain features (ADAS, infotainment, body, powertrain, etc.) on prototype and pre-production vehicles.
  • Support cold/hot climate testing, road load validation, EMC exposure, and system behavior in various real-world scenarios.
  • Collaborate with system and feature owners to define test conditions that ensure coverage of real-use cases and edge cases.

Integration & Issue Resolution

  • Validate EE system integration and interdependencies—particularly those related to zonal architectures, distributed compute nodes, and network communication.
  • Lead and support root cause analysis of issues found during testing, working closely with software, hardware, and integration teams.
  • Manage issue tracking, triaging, and resolution status through development phases.

Compliance & Quality Support

  • Ensure that vehicle-level EE validation aligns with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO 21434, UNECE R155/R156, EMC compliance).
  • Contribute to validation reports, test case coverage tracking, and homologation documentation.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work cross-functionally with system engineers, software developers, release engineers, and vehicle test teams to drive coordinated testing efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve test procedures, automation, and reporting based on field learnings and program needs.
  • Support test readiness reviews, milestone gates, and program-level sign-offs.
