Technical Support Specialist I (Contract role)

Bellevue, WA

Bungie is looking for a dedicated Technical Support Specialist I to function in the role as a Desktop Technician. You will be helping us support the workstations and people working on our world class games! Day-to-day duties and challenges are multifaceted, from building high end workstations to helping on projects that promote our new releases. The ideal candidate is a phenomenal teammate, possessing outstanding customer service skills and an appetite for growing their technical breadth. We often tread the razor’s edge on new technology adoption, so adaptability and a strong desire to research, investigate and find unique solutions is a must.

The successful candidate will be responsible for imaging numerous machines simultaneously, tracking project progress and deploying new machines across the studio. The ideal candidate will be able to solve common Windows and imaging issues and be able to operate independently. Organization and drive are key in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Install workstation operating systems according to documented procedures and/or customer specific needs
  • Solve computer and basic user networking issues
  • Understand the Install workstation operating systems according to documented procedures and/or customer specific needs
  • Provides support for MS Windows 10 and 11
  • Provides hardware, software and systems support
  • Use custom tools to support users and their systems
  • Basic user account/computer object administration (Active Directory)
  • Participate in analyzing and debugging desktop software applications
  • Participate in the maintenance of equipment, inventory and related documentation
  • Receive and ship inventory on an as needed basis

Requirements:

  • Proficient in using technical tools such as Task Manager, ProcMon, Sysinternals, etc
  • 2-3 years supporting end users and desktops in a professional environment.
  • Skilled in installation and administration of operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11.
  • Competent with command line tools
  • Self-driven and able to immediately contribute
  • Able to learn quickly in a highly technical, fast paced and intensive environment
  • Experience in a role involving direct customer contact (internal and external customers)
  • Able to lift 50 pounds as may be needed

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimal direction
  • Experience with IP networking (Subnetting, VLANS, Routing)
  • Experience with batch scripting for enterprise management
  • Familiarity with OS deployment tools (MDT, OSD, Fogg, etc.)
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
