What You'll Do:

• Develop and Implement Advanced Analytical Models: Design and deploy sophisticated models to analyze large datasets, providing actionable insights and predicting future outcomes.
• Lead Data-Driven Projects: Spearhead projects that utilize data to inform and promote business growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Mentor Junior Data Scientists: Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members, fostering skill development and ensuring the successful completion of projects.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to foster a data-driven culture and inform strategic decisions.
• Experimentation and Analysis: Design, execute, and analyze experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of algorithmic changes on key business metrics.

• Advanced Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in regression analysis, time series analysis, and hypothesis testing is crucial for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive informed business decisions.
• Machine Learning Expertise: A solid foundation in machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and anomaly detection, is necessary for developing predictive models and performing data clustering.
• Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases enables efficient handling of large datasets that traditional data processing tools cannot manage.

Requirements:

• Tech Experience: +5 years of experience applying machine learning and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Proficient in Python and experienced with data visualization tools and statistical analysis.
• Skilled in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments, with a track record of deriving actionable insights and making impactful product recommendations.
• Proven ability to present findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior data scientists, with the ability to influence the scope and output of others.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Location: Latin America.
• Time Zone: GMT -2, -3, or -4.
• English Level: B2+.
