Allocation Analyst

Tecovas is looking for an Allocation Analyst to develop, execute, and evaluate the desired inventory levels needed to support our rapidly growing store count. Reporting directly to the Senior Allocation Manager, you will be a key leader in balancing the target inventory by sales channel while helping evolve our replenishment process.
You will work closely with the Merchandising, Operations and Retail to deliver the right product, in the right quantities at the right time. In addition to managing weekly replenishment, you will provide sales and inventory analysis by location and own retail inventory related projects.
This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
What you’ll do:
- Own weekly store inventory replenishments to support sales demand, manage healthy stock to sales ratios, and support Tecovas merchandising goals
- Communicate weekly orders to 3PL and Logistics to ensure inventory is picked, packed and shipped on time
- Analyze style, color and size performance by location on a regular cadence to identify risks and opportunities
- Communicate with Merchants and Planners on a weekly basis regarding all issues related to allocations, replenishment and inventory.
- Build allocation plans in collaboration with retail and merchandising teams for new product launching in retail by reserving inventory by location ahead of launch dates and ensuring availability by the launch date.
- Ensure successful store openings by building new store orders to support their individual needs
- Support all inventory movement projects related to stores, special events, and 3PL
Experience we’re looking for:
- Corporate retail replenishment/allocation experience, a background with sized merchandise, and experience supporting a high growth business
- 2+ years relevant work experience and a BA/BS degree
- Strong technical aptitude, including advanced competency in Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly master new applications and systems
- Demonstrated creative thinking and problem solving abilities
- Quantitative approach to problem solving and strong analytical skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
