  • Product Counseling: Advise the product and engineering teams on the full product development cycle from ideation to deprecation of all products and product features across all business lines. Act as the lead legal advisor to our product, engineering, and design teams throughout the full product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration. Identify legal risks and provide actionable solutions to advance innovation and regulatory compliance.
  • Commercial Contracts: Lead all commercial contracting activities (revenue and procurement) and draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts with a focus on achieving stated business objectives. Partner with cross-functional business teams to understand and support their needs to achieve Company objectives while appropriately managing legal risk.
  • Data Privacy and Security: Partner closely with the Security function to advise on product, marketing and internal operations on data privacy and security risk and issues. Shape, lead and maintain data privacy policies.

  • Strategic Leadership: Shape, develop and enhance Company-wide legal strategies on artificial intelligence, privacy and security, regulatory compliance and commercial risk management. Drive high-impact projects involving legal analysis and compliance with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Advisory: Provide timely advice on matters involving intellectual property, transactional law and regulatory compliance, including ongoing monitoring on emerging legal and regulatory trends that may impact the Company's business and operations.
  • Management: Manage and mentor Contract Manager, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of product counseling and commercial contracting in fast-paced environments, including, in particular, knowledge of AI and privacy regulatory frameworks and contracting best practices. Preferred: A mix of law-firm training and corporate tech-forward, in-house experience. Experience with litigation and/or corporate transactions (i.e., fundraising and/or M&A).
  • Credentials and Education: Admission in good standing to practice law in the relevant state bar and Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Independence and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse and complex workload in a fast-changing environment as well as collaborate across functions at all levels.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
