HR Generalist (Remote Contractor Assignment)
At WithMe, Inc., we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for an HR Generalist Contractor to support our People team and help us deliver an exceptional team member experience. This role is best suited for individuals located in or willing to cover Central or Mountain time zones.
As a contract HR Generalist, you’ll manage day-to-day People Operations programs while supporting compliance, recruiting and engagement initiatives. You will also be a trusted resource for our team members and managers, ensuring smooth HR processes and a positive team member experience.
What You’ll Do
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles and interview processes.
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the selection of qualified candidates.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- HR Programs & Compliance
- Administer benefits, leave, performance management, and compliance programs.
- Track and document compliance with employment laws and required training.
- Support compensation reviews and recommend pay adjustments.
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a first point of contact for team member questions and concerns.
- Support career pathing and performance improvement discussions.
- Assist with investigations and employee relations matters.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify process gaps and recommend best practices.
- Stay current on employment regulations and People Ops technology.
What We’re Looking For
- At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in an HR Generalist, People Operations or related role.
- Working knowledge of multi-state employment law and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and employee relations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace; familiarity with ATS (Greenhouse) and HCM (Paycom) systems is a plus.
- Preference for candidates in Central or Mountain time zones (or willing to align to those working hours).
NOTE: As a contract (1099) assignment, this position is not eligible for the benefits listed for full-time employees.
Full compensation packages are based on position location as well as candidate experience and qualifications.
This position will also qualify for annual bonus opportunity.
Hourly Rate Range
$20 - $25 USD
