About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer at YLD, you’ll be part of a client team building innovative products. We’re looking for someone curious, passionate, driven, and enthusiastic. You should be skilled in problem-solving and experienced in designing scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures. You’re also an effective communicator and a strong team player. Together with your team, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment, delivering outstanding results and exciting projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven commercial experience of working with React and Node;
  • Experienced in JavaScript, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures and ES6;
  • Experience with GraphQL;
  • Experience in distributed version control systems (e.g. Git);
  • Experience in databases (both relational and schema-less);
  • A strong focus on continuous integration and delivery;
  • Strong focus in TDD;
  • Building high-performance and scalable applications;
  • Good understanding of the design and implementation of RESTful web services;
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring tools;
  • You can keep a cool head when debugging production issues.
