The Role
With the growth of Davidson Kempner’s global platform and EMEA (London, Dublin, Abu Dhabi) and APAC (Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Mumbai) offices, the Corporate Accounting department is expanding its global support model with non-US resourcing in Dublin. This is the second Dublin hire with the remainder of the team being US-based.

  • As part of the Corporate Accounting team, the Associate will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and documenting month-end/quarter-end close processes for global corporate entities across Europe and Asia
  • Preparing periodic entity-level financial reporting (balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, footnotes)
  • Coordinating with global independent auditors (PwC) for the annual audit cycle and financial statement issuance
  • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting global regulatory reporting requirements
  • Recommending and supporting process improvements across locations
  • Participating in working groups for new entity or office launches and their onboarding
  • Acting as a local point of contact for Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance & Tax, and Operations

Qualifications

  • A minimum 0–3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in investment management
  • A minimum 2.1 degree class from a top tier university ideally in an Accounting or associated subject
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualified
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with SAGE and Workday preferred
  • Experience using Alteryx is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Inquisitive, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; able to manage multiple deliverables and collaborate effectively across teams.
