Global Credit Masters Intern

The Internship
This Internship offers an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a Masters in Finance to gain tangible experience in a global alternative investment management firm and in hard asset investing across Distressed and Private Equity. The Internship will be for 6 months, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to use and build upon their theoretical knowledge with responsibilities including identifying, researching and recommending potential investments and developing the Firm’s market research capabilities. Moreover, it provides the opportunity to work amongst best-in-class pan-European investment teams with notable capital, track record, strategy, and leadership, and to learn from some of the leading investment professionals in the field.
We want to see you if you have
- An interest in critical reasoning and constructing and articulating investment ideas
- Experience (through education or work experience) in financial modeling deals and transactional analysis
- A desire to extract and collate large data sets to support investment ideas
- An appreciation for innovation and bigger picture thinking as well as accuracy and the smaller details
- An interest in markets, investment trends and the wider alternatives landscape
Required Skills
- A minimum 2.1 (or global equivalent) undergraduate degree
- Must be in the penultimate or final year of a Masters in Finance Program
- Relevant internship experience in a sell-side or buyside firm and / or management consultancy firm
- Strong quantitative abilities and competency in using financial modelling techniques
- Excellent organization skills and a deadline driven mindset
- Strong communication skills and an experience working in teams
