Field Service Lead Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking an energetic, self-starter to join our team as our first Field Service Lead Engineer. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of robotic systems to install, troubleshoot, and support machine functionality both in the office and at distributed locations across the US. This person must be a curious self-starter with strong engineering and communication skills, both verbal and written.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Own setup and installation of machines at customer stores
  • Diagnose and repair machines at customer locations or remove/replace machines for external repair
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative checks and calibrations to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure alignment across all interested parties
  • Create a Support library through clear process/procedure documentation crafting and updating
  • Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and training
  • Work with cross-functional engineering teams to influence and improve the design of the robotic system
  • Drive peak organizational performance through effective feedback, accountability and teamwork
  • Travel: Up to 50% in the continental US

What you have

  • BS Engineering with 3+ years of robotics/systems engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, systems, and networking
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions
  • Clear and effective communication, with technical and non-technical colleagues, and experience providing professional customer service with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work in diverse environments and adjust to changing needs and technical challenges
  • An unwavering pursuit of innovation

Salary Range

$90,000 - $100,000 USD
