Beauty Brand Ambassador

10Beauty, located in Burlington, MA, is building the definitive Intelligent Beauty company, leveraging robotics and automation to reimagine how people can interact with machines on a service level. Our diverse 45-person and growing team is built around individuals with a consistently demonstrated track record of introducing successful new-to-the-world products (100+ new products launched across the team).

Introduction: 

*This is an initial 2 week contract role, however, as 10Beauty expands in the Burlington/Boston area, this could absolutely turn into a 40 hour/week opportunity*

10Beauty is seeking a Brand Ambassador, who is either a licensed nail tech or a nail tech in training, for our pre-launch pilot at Nordstrom in Burlington, MA. This person will be the face of our brand, stationed directly at our in-store machines to educate, assist, and inspire customers as they experience their first fully robotic manicure. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of beauty tech, connect with consumers, and drive excitement for 10Beauty.

What You'll Do:

• Be the Expert: Become a product expert on the 10Beauty machine, our innovative nail pods, and the accompanying app
• Engage and Educate: Proactively approach and engage customers, sharing the story of 10Beauty and the benefits of our products
• Live Demonstrations: Provide compelling, hands-on demonstrations of the 10Beauty machine, showcasing its ease of use and unique features
• Troubleshoot and Support: Answer customer questions, provide basic troubleshooting for the machine or app, and offer "nail touch-ups" or quick demonstrations to highlight the quality and convenience
• Drive Awareness & Sales: Encourage customers to try the machine!
• Represent the Brand: Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and positive image that aligns with the 10Beauty brand values
• Gather Feedback: Listen to customer feedback and share insights with the 10Beauty team to help us continuously improve
• Maintain Presence: Ensure the machine and surrounding area are clean, organized, and inviting

What you have:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, brand ambassador roles, or a similar client-facing position
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: You're approachable, articulate, and love engaging with people
• Demonstrated ability to learn new products quickly and explain them clearly
• Reliability and professionalism: Punctual, dependable, and always ready to represent 10Beauty positively
• Flexibility: Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
