About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a critical role in transforming the architecture of our core banking platform. This transformation will support advanced account structures and enable the launch of new financial products such as Certificates of Deposit (CDs). You will help mature foundational member-facing services such as entitlements, permissions, and data management, which are essential to delivering integrated product offerings.

This role operates within a highly collaborative environment where cross-functional planning and coordination are crucial. You will be involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and continuous improvement. The right candidate brings a balance of forward-thinking architecture, hands-on engineering, and a passion for mentorship and teamwork.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience with modern technology stacks.
• 2+ years of experience in Java, Kotlin, or Scala development.
• Experience with AWS and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and ORMs.
• Proven experience working within a microservices or SOA-based architecture.
• Ability to own projects from concept to delivery.
• Effective collaboration in code reviews, pull requests, and iterative development cycles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to shipping impactful features.

 

Nice to Have

• Experience managing personal investments or handling loan processes.
• Experience scaling mission-critical, high-availability systems.
• Full-stack development experience or deep specialization in infrastructure, database, or frontend domains.
• Prior experience working in fintech or a regulated industry.
