The Account Director will be responsible for the following: 

The Account Director, Experiential & Integrated Marketing leads large-scale, multi-channel client business at Mint — bringing together XM, creative, PR, and digital expertise to deliver ideas that connect brands with culture.

This role requires both strategic leadership and operational excellence: someone who can build senior-level relationships, guide integrated teams, and push for bold work that drives measurable impact.

Client Partnership

  • Serve as the senior day-to-day lead for assigned client business across Experiential and Integrated Marketing.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing counsel that balances creative vision with business impact.
  • Deeply understand client industries, audiences, and challenges to anticipate needs and opportunities.
  • Represent Mint’s integrated perspective — ensuring client solutions connect across channels and experiences.

Strategic Thinking & Business Leadership

  • Translate client objectives into multi-channel strategies and campaigns that deliver results.
  • Lead the development of strategic frameworks, proposals, and long-term growth plans.
  • Guide teams in developing insight-driven creative briefs that inspire bold thinking.
  • Partner with Strategy, Creative, and Production to bring integrated ideas to life.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities — expanding client relationships and scope of work.

Project & Business Stewardship

  • Oversee financial performance, forecasting, and resourcing across your client portfolio.
  • Ensure all programs are delivered on time, on budget, and on strategy.
  • Balance creative ambition with operational discipline — ensuring excellence at every stage.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership on scoping, pricing, and profitability management.
  • Provide clear communication and direction to ensure internal alignment and client confidence.

Collaboration & Craft

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across XM, Digital, PR, and Creative teams.
  • Push for best-in-class creative execution and experiential craftsmanship.
  • Foster an environment of openness, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Represent Mint’s creative excellence in client presentations and industry discussions.
  • Review work at key stages to ensure alignment to the brief, brand, and audience.

Leadership & Growth

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Supervisors, Managers, and Coordinators.
  • Inspire teams to bring their best thinking forward, balancing creativity with precision.
  • Collaborate with department and agency leadership on new business efforts and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Embody Mint’s culture of optimism, progressiveness, and integrity in everything you do.
  • Contribute to building Mint’s profile as a leader in integrated brand experience.

Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in agency account management, with expertise in experiential and integrated marketing.
  • Proven experience leading multi-channel campaigns spanning XM, digital, social, PR, and content.
  • Strong strategic acumen and ability to connect business goals to creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business growth.
  • Experience overseeing budgets, scopes, and large cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of production, experiential logistics, and creative process.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple high-value projects.
  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area, with the flexibility to attend on-site activations or client events.
