Summary:
We are looking for a highly-motivated Account Executive with experience working closely with decentralized or federated models of career services within the university. Your role will be to develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, evangelize the 12twenty platform, and close new business, helping expand our presence in higher education.
In this role, you’ll interact with a range of decision-makers, including school Deans, Department Heads, and Career Center Administrators. Success will require exceptional communication skills and an understanding of how different schools within universities operate. Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with administrators and faculty members within individual schools and departments, demonstrating how 12twenty can support their specific needs
- Conduct virtual and in-person demonstrations of the 12twenty platform tailored to the needs of school Deans, Department Heads, and university administrators
- Generate scalable revenue and meet quarterly and annual sales targets
- Create and negotiate sales proposals and contracts, ensuring alignment with departmental goals
- Collaborate with the Implementation, Customer Success, and Product Teams to ensure product features address the unique needs of schools within universities
Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales experience in higher education, career services, or education technology, with a focus on decentralized or federated models of career services within the university
- BA/BS degree required
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to prospect and close sales with school administrators
- A self-starter with the ability to manage their own pipeline while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Dedication to professionalism and excellence in client interactions
Bonus points:
- Experience with Salesforce
- Previous work experience within higher education institutions, especially in roles interfacing with school or departmental leadership
Annual compensation range: Up to $110,000 OTE
The annual compensation range for this position is listed above. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on company compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location.
In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for equity. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), and paid time off.
