Social Media Creator (LinkedIn, Facebook, & Threads)

Boston, MA

Who are we?

143 Studios is the award-winning media production company behind The Mel Robbins Podcast -- one of the top ranking podcasts in the world. We’re also the same team behind The Let Them Theory, a cultural phenomenon with over 5 million copies sold in 5 months, and six #1 Audible Originals. Every day, our work inspires more than 30 million online followers around the world and reaches hundreds of millions of people monthly.

About the Role

We’re hiring a world-class Social Media Creator to lead execution across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Threads. This is a role for a seasoned, intellectually curious creator with editorial rigor, corporate and journalistic sensibility, and video editing skills -- especially for longer-form content.

You'll take a goldmine of high quality content -- podcast episodes, interviews, live events, touring footage, behind-the-scenes footage -- and shape it into high-performing, emotionally resonant social content that is tailored to each platform and feels authentic, insightful, and shareable across LinkedIn, Facebook and Threads.

If you’ve written for thought leaders, edited longer-form social videos with narrative clarity, and know how to speak to both personal growth and professional ambition -- we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Editing

  • Own video and static content creation across LinkedIn and Facebook, including longer-form storytelling (2-5+ minutes).
  • Edit and package video content with a professional eye; clean cuts, clear structure, purposeful pacing and intentional on-screen graphics.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, title cards, and on-brand text overlays to enhance clarity and retention.
  • Create quote cards, visual carousels, and other static assets to support key ideas and messages.
  • Think strategically about content structure, sequencing, and style to meet the expectations of a professional and corporate-facing audience.

Writing & Messaging Execution

  • Write brand-aligned, insight-driven captions and post copy that reflect Mel’s message and tone while resonating with a professional audience.
  • Adapt Mel’s voice for platform-specific styles -- from reflective storytelling on LinkedIn to conversational Threads and community-building on Facebook.
  • Draft text-based posts that exhibit thought leadership and journalistic quality, showcasing your ability to distill complex themes into clear, authentic copy that drives engagement.

Audience Engagement & Iteration

  • Monitor post performance and audience feedback (comments, saves, shares) to inform future content.
  • Adjust copy, titles, and visuals based on engagement data -- and make small, smart tweaks that drive big results.
  • Stay up to date with platform trends (e.g. post styles, content cadence, thought leadership tone) and translate them into actionable content ideas.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with our strategist and content team to align your output with weekly themes and broader brand goals.
  • Join creative brainstorms, contribute post concepts, and help scale ideas across multiple channels

What You Bring

  • Deep experience with LinkedIn content creation, with a proven ability to write posts that resonate with corporate and professional audiences
  • Strong writing background with experience in editorial or corporate content, brand storytelling, or social campaigns that balance clarity, warmth and authority.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar) and basic motion graphics.
  • High comfort level with Facebook post styles and community-building mechanics.
  • Understanding of Threads tone and audience, with the ability to translate ideas into conversational high-engagement formats.
  • Proven success in translating longform content (podcast, interviews, speeches) into short- and mid-form content
  • Comfortable with fast-paced timelines and adapting to new creative challenges weekly.

Qualifications

  • Impressive experience in social media content creation, short-form video editing, or a related creative field.
  • Strong writing chops, with an ability to write posts that feel human, articulate, and worth pausing to read.
  • Proficiency in video editing for longer formats (2–5+ minutes); experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and motion graphics tools required.
  • Experience editing with narrative clarity -- you know how to build tension, pull quotes, and structure a story from longform source material.
  • Deep understanding of platform behaviors on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Threads -- and how tone, pacing, and copy vary across each.
  • Comfortable owning end-to-end content creation: from concept to copy to editing.
  • Passionate about personal growth, emotional intelligence, leadership, and making meaningful content at scale.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and self-directed -- you take initiative and follow through.
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and agile -- ready to pivot with trends and fast-moving production timelines.
  • Comfortable with filming equipment and basic on-set roles, but you don’t need a crew to make magic happen.
  • Collaborative, quick-moving, solutions-oriented -- and you love experimenting to find what works.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with a large corporate brand, university, breaking news outlet, podcast, or thought leader.
  • Fluency in social video editing, especially longer-form narrative content. You know how to build tension, use pull quotes, and structure a compelling arc from raw material.
  • Understanding of cross-functional workflows with social, design, and post-production teams.
  • Understanding of basic analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, etc.) to guide creative decisions.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Be part of a winning team that’s behind one of the most successful podcast, publishing, and personal development brands on the planet.
  • Your work won’t just entertain -- it will inspire millions of people to change their lives.
  • You’ll be empowered to try, test, and iterate, with the support and resources to scale what works.
  • Every week is different. Yes, it’s fast-paced, but it’s also really fun.
  • You’ll feel inspired not only by the work that you and your colleagues are doing, but from the world renowned experts that come into our podcast studios that you will work with and learn from.
  • Be surrounded and challenged by award-winning team members who are excited to win together and make each other’s work better.
  • We invest in technology and data and the resources that our team needs in order to compete in the highest levels globally.

Form CC-305

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
