Operations Manager (Maternity Cover: February–October 2025)

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our growing New York office on a maternity leave cover from February to October. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to spearhead global operational initiatives and shape recruitment strategies for a rapidly expanding corporate communications firm. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects in operations management, preferably in PR, hospitality, or a fast-paced tech or startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Managing Partners/Founders in NYC and senior management across Europe and the US.
  • Assist with budgeting, strategy, and operational planning for our offices in NYC, Dublin, and SF.
  • Support the management team with ad hoc projects and issue resolution.
  • Manage the company’s internal communications, including weekly memos, biweekly company-wide meetings, and quarterly all-hands sessions.
  • Manage timely and accurate communication across teams.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new hires.
  • Explore and develop innovative recruitment opportunities in the tech and hiring ecosystem.
  • Monitor and enhance employee retention strategies, such as perks, benefits, and recognition programs.
  • Facilitate performance reviews, both quarterly and annually.
  • Facilitate client-facing operations, including managing new contracts, overseeing contract renewals, and ensuring timely invoice payments.
  • Monitor departmental expenses to ensure alignment with company budget.
  • Plan and manage internal and client events, handling everything from venue selection to post-event debriefs, including holiday parties, private dinners, experiential activations, recruitment drives, and investor days.



Qualifications

  • 2+ years of operations management experience, ideally in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently while collaborating with a global team.
  • Proven ability to build consensus and foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A proactive, dynamic, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • HR/Recruitment experience is a plus.
