Full Stack Engineer

Things you will do:

As a Software Engineer 1 or 2 with 1800 Contacts, you will collaborate with a team of developers to build and manage enterprise-level applications, supporting multiple storefronts and lines of business within the organization. These include RESTful microservices, internal Angular web applications, and Azure Functions. You'll share ownership of over thirty business-critical software systems, with a commitment to quality, ownership, and active involvement in solving key Business initiatives with long term solutions. You’ll be actively influencing the team’s area of focus, working closely with the Product Manager and the team in this highly collaborative setting.

The experience we're looking for:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience developing software.
  • Experience with at least one programming language (C#, Java, Python) and a willingness to learn and operate primarily in C#.
  • Basic understanding of Object-Oriented programming and Dependency Injection.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Experience with SQL and database structures.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development.

On a regular basis you will:

  • Develop and maintain platform services and internal applications using C#, SQL, and modern web frameworks.
  • Create and maintain code that integrates with 3rd party vendors
  • Implement comprehensive automated tests to ensure quality
  • Participate actively in code reviews and pull requests
  • Support and contribute to CI/CD pipeline processes
  • Complete projects independently or in a pair while collaborating effectively with the team

Valued but not required:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree, or the equivalent, in Computer Science or related field is a plus but not necessarily required.
  • Experience with Databricks, Splunk, Python, and Azure
  • Experience with Docker and Containers

You have significant experience using SQL for data analysis, querying, and schema design. You can independently optimize queries, manage joins across multiple tables, and contribute to database management tasks.

Intermediate:
You have hands-on experience writing SQL queries for standard data tasks, such as filtering, joining, and aggregating data. You are comfortable creating basic schemas and resolving common query issues but may require guidance for advanced optimization or troubleshooting.

Beginner:
You have a foundational understanding of SQL. You can write simple queries and perform basic operations like SELECT, JOIN, and GROUP BY but lack exposure to more complex tasks or large datasets.
