We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Design Team as we continue to grow our brand and build cohesive customer experiences. At 1-800 Contacts, the Product Marketing/Merchandising team is chartered with subject matter expertise across ancillary products offered by 1-800 Contacts. A designer on this team plays an essential role in creating on-brand, engaging content for merchandising and digital marketing experiences.

What you’ll do

  • Design marketing assets that support product marketing initiatives and go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with product managers and marketing leads to align design with business goals
  • Collaborate with copywriters and other designers to design assets for marketing strategies, and customer-facing assets across digital touchpoints
  • Work directly with product and marketing teams to translate business strategies into tangible creative assets
  • Coordinate creative campaigns with adjacent Marketing and Creative teams — CRM, Acquisition, and Social
  • Take projects from concept to completion
  • Test, learn and iterate

What you'll need

  • 4+ years experience working as a graphic designer or similar role on an in-house creative team or agency environment. Experience with product marketing, go-to-market campaigns, and digital product launches is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking, communication and writing skills
  • A passion for your craft that embraces feedback in constant pursuit of personal growth and improving work
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work
  • Ability to balance and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment despite changing priorities
  • Strong conceptual thinking skills and the ability to work with marketing teams to concept and execute campaigns
  • A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and development
  • A love of playing at the intersection of graphic design, marketing design, and product marketing
  • A hyper awareness of both tiny details and big picture stuff
  • Photo/video shoot direction/production a plus
  • Ability to present work to partners and effectively solicit and address feedback
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud—Photoshop, Illustrator, etc
