As a member of the 1-800 Contacts Creative Team, this role is essential in the development and expression of our brand identity in marketing materials. You are a Graphic Designer with serious advertising chops. You’re adept at conceptual ideation, creative communication skills, and have an ability to execute at the highest levels. You will design campaigns for marketing projects including digital, social media, email, animation and video. You will work closely with marketing and advertising partners and collaborate directly with a copywriter to create concepts and execute strategic campaigns.

What you’ll do

  • Develop creative concepts and strategies for specific target audiences to drive business results
  • Interpret creative briefs and messaging frameworks to develop and produce creative concepts through execution
  • Focus on creating paid media campaigns in display and social to drive prospects to landing pages with a cohesive message and visual tone across all touchpoints
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, exploration and experimentation, designing fresh approaches to marketing messaging that connects with the desired audience and drives action
  • Be responsible for designing marketing and advertising materials that are clear, concise and persuasive to help bring the program strategy to life
  • Collaborate closely with a copywriter from concept development to delivery of final product
  • Work with other marketing designers and UX designers to implement cohesive campaigns across multiple channels
  • Communicate creative ideas in presentations
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging

What you'll need

  • Two to five years of relevant experience in marketing and creative
  • Experience working on marketing or advertising campaigns, digital and social media
  • A solid portfolio showing relevant work in marketing or advertising, web, product, brand messaging
  • Excellent concepting and design skills with an amazing attention to detail
  • Design skills with layout, type, illustration, photography, motion and animation that are not only beautiful and smart, but yield business results
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in graphic design, advertising, marketing or related major
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to own projects, drive them forward independently, and take initiative
  • You know how to respond when a marketer says, “Make it Pop!”

United States Remote Salary Range

$75,000 - $80,000 USD
