What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering personalized experiences on our web and app storefronts. You’ll lead innovative campaigns that test and optimize targeted messaging across channels, boosting retention, acquisition, and cross-sell growth. Beyond driving results for the business, the goal is to make our customers’ lives easier – simplifying how they get their contacts and glasses so the process feels seamless and convenient. A large part of your work will focus on refining customer segmentation within our Marketing Automation Platform and analyzing performance in tools like Adobe and Tableau to identify insights and guide next steps. This is a highly collaborative position that requires strong attention to detail, working closely with both technical and creative teams to bring personalization to life. It’s a unique opportunity to combine strategy with hands-on execution while gaining exposure across multiple parts of the business.
Key areas of focus for the job:
- Customer segmentation
- Leverage owned customer data to personalize our storefronts, delivering the most relevant message to positively influence key business outcomes.
- Become an expert in customer data and master the customer targeting capabilities of our Marketing Automation Platform.
- Reporting and analytics
- Launch and monitor A/B personalization tests across our web and app storefronts
- Interpret campaign test performance and translate into key takeaways for the business/next steps
- Distribute results to teammates and stakeholders
- Test, learn, and iterate
- Approach customer experiences with a constant pursuit of a better way, refining messaging through thoughtful testing and optimization across web and app storefronts.
- Apply analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot issues, interpret data, uncover root causes, and identify opportunities that lead to impactful results.
- Collaboration and coordination
- Guide timely and accurate execution of projects through creative and development in our project management tool (Jira)
- Be an active participant in the team dialogue; we want your POV on things!
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with our web and app teams to identify opportunities where we can continually improve personalization for our customers.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an ecommerce, direct-to-consumer business
- Web/app experience is preferred
- Experience executing and managing a/b or multivariant tests is required; solid understanding of marketing metrics to effectively analyze campaign performance
- Experience with machine learning and reinforcement learning is a plus
- Proficient in Excel; proficiency in Adobe, Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Experience working in a Customer Data Platform is a plus (Redpoint, Salesforce, Braze, etc.)
- Track record of customer segmentation and developing marketing campaigns that deliver on business KPIs (conversion, revenue, orders, AOS)
- This position offers flexibility to work in a hybrid or fully remote capacity from Utah
