The Opportunity

Propel People is seeking a driven, results-oriented Account Executive to join our fast-growing sales team.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future of recruiting by introducing our AI-powered hiring solutions to forward-thinking clients in the construction industry. If you’re passionate about sales and have a proven track record closing SMB deals, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive at Propel People, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth, expanding our customer base within the construction space. You’ll leverage your SaaS and AI sales experience to identify high-potential leads, close strategic deals, and build long-term customer relationships.

Here’s what success looks like:

  • Own the Sales Strategy: Target and develop new business opportunities with general contractors and subcontractors in the SMB market.
  • Drive the Full Sales Cycle: Manage every step—from prospecting and outreach to closing—with consistency and precision.
  • Tailor the Pitch: Understand each client’s unique challenges and deliver AI-powered solutions that drive real business outcomes.
  • Hit the Numbers: Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas while contributing to overall revenue growth.
  • Reap the Rewards: With an uncapped incentive plan, your success directly translates into earnings.
  • Hit the Road: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to connect with prospects and customers face-to-face.
  • Team Up: Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and product teams as we grow to ensure clients are set up for long-term success.

Who You Are

You’re a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and gets excited about bringing cutting-edge technology to new markets.

Your background includes:

  • Sales Experience: 2+ years in a quota-carrying sales role at a SaaS or AI company, plus 1–2 years as a BDR is a strong plus.

  • Industry Insight: Familiarity with the HR/recruiting space and/or construction industry is a bonus.

  • Startup Experience: You're comfortable with ambiguity and love the fast pace of a high-growth company.

  • Full-Cycle Sales Skills: Demonstrated success managing the complete sales process from lead generation through closing.

  • Results-Driven Mindset: A proven record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Self-Starter Attitude: You work well independently but thrive in a team-focused culture.

  • Excellent Communicator: Clear, confident, and persuasive—both in writing and in person.

Travel

This role is remote. While flexibility is key, we also value in-person connections. This role requires up to 25% travel for attending industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
