The Opportunity
1848 Ventures is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated undergraduate or graduate student to join our team as a GTM (Go-To-Market) Intern. This 10-week internship offers a unique opportunity to assist in the process of bringing AI-powered solutions to market for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Dive into the dynamic world of early-stage venture building and learn how to translate innovative products into successful market entries. You'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, contributing to real projects and learning from experienced professionals.
What You’ll Do
During your internship, you'll gain valuable experience in the following areas:
- Market Research and Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing market data, industry trends, and competitor information to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Support the team in identifying and defining target customer segments for new AI-powered ventures.
- Content Creation and Marketing Support: Assist in creating marketing materials, presentations, and content to support product development and launches.
- Growth Marketing Support and Enablement: Support the Growth Marketing efforts by providing research, creating sales tools, and assisting with customer research.
- Go-to-Market Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of go-to-market plans, including pricing, positioning, and distribution strategies.
- Performance Tracking and Analysis: Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of go-to-market initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members, including venture builders, product designers, growth marketers, and engineers, and assist in preparing presentations and reports.
- Shadowing and Learning: Observe and learn from experienced professionals in the go-to-market process.
Who You Are
We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated students who:
- Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, preferably with a concentration in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
- Possess a strong interest in go-to-market strategy, marketing, sales, AI, machine learning, and supporting SMBs.
- Desire to contribute at the earliest development stage to Seed Round and product launch.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Are eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Are comfortable with researching and analyzing market information.
- Possess a willingness to learn new marketing and sales tools and techniques.

- You have experience with market research, sales, or marketing.
