Outpatient Therapist – Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Location: High Focus Centers – Northeast Philadelphia, PA

High Focus Centers is a leading provider of high-quality outpatient treatment across southeastern Pennsylvania, operating through its subsidiary programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. Our comprehensive, individualized treatment approach supports adolescents and adults struggling with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.

We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist with strong DBT skills training experience to facilitate Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) groups and provide exceptional clinical care. This role will play a key part in delivering structured, skills-based treatment with an emphasis on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $53,000 – $55,000 (dependent on experience, education, and licensure)


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) group therapy sessions with a strong emphasis on DBT skills training, including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness

  • Deliver structured, curriculum-based DBT groups and reinforce skills application in daily functioning

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams

  • Integrate DBT principles into individual sessions and crisis interventions as clinically indicated

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews

  • Coordinate care with referral sources, families, and external providers

  • Maintain a minimum of 25 billable sessions per week while supporting program needs

  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support clinical operations


Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health) from an accredited institution, including completion of a clinical internship/practicum

  • Experience providing DBT skills training in a group setting required
