💰 $16 - $17.50 per hour
🕒 Full-Time | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

About Us

Pyramid Healthcare is expanding with a new detox and residential treatment facility in Concord, NC. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team and support clients on their recovery journey. As a BHT, you will play a key role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals receiving substance use treatment.

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician is a direct care role responsible for supervising and engaging clients, supporting treatment programming, and assisting with daily living needs. This position works closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure client safety, promote recovery, and maintain program structure throughout the day.

Schedule & Pay

Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shift)
Pay: $17 per hour
Status: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete client intakes and support new admissions into the program.

  • Supervise and interact with clients in treatment to promote safety and engagement.

  • Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.

  • Accurately maintain client records and required documentation.

  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring client activities and daily programming.

  • Provide safe and timely client transportation as needed.

  • Support clients in following treatment plan objectives and addressing individualized needs.

  • Respond appropriately to client behavioral or emotional crises, including crisis intervention when necessary.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; assist with basic housekeeping tasks.

  • Provide assistance with client dietary needs and mealtimes.

  • Uphold therapeutic boundaries and maintain professional ethics at all times.

  • Complete all required trainings and participate in staff development.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Experience

  • Prior experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to problem-solve and respond effectively in crisis situations.

  • Working knowledge of basic safety and compliance standards.

  • Commitment to client-centered care and recovery support.
