Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – Full-Time Days
📍 Silvermist Poconos with Pyramid Healthcare – Lake Ariel, PA
💰 $17/hour
🕒 Full-Time | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
About the Role
Silvermist Poconos with Pyramid Healthcare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team on the day shift. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey by fostering a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
We believe recovery is a right, not a privilege, and are committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care that empowers clients to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily treatment programming and client engagement
- Assist with client intakes and admissions process
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs
- Monitor client safety, including bed checks and adherence to schedules
- Provide crisis intervention and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
- Facilitate or assist with group activities and programming
- Monitor medication line and observe for safety/medical concerns
- Conduct searches as required
- Follow treatment plans and support client interventions
- Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Previous behavioral health or mental health experience is a plus (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Experience facilitating groups or activities preferred
