Location: Pyramid Healthcare – Newport News, VA
Schedule: Full-Time | 11:00 am–7:00 pm | Every Other Weekend Required
Compensation: $15.00–$17.00 per hour (based on experience)

Pyramid Healthcare at Newport News is proud to provide structured, client-centered treatment for adults navigating recovery from Substance Use Disorders. Our compassionate leadership and dedicated care teams support clients in reclaiming their health and independence through evidence-based practices and individualized care.

We are currently seeking a Cook to join our culinary team and contribute to the overall wellness of our clients. If you are passionate about quality food, organization, and supporting a mission-driven environment, we would be delighted to hear from you!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals for clients
- Ability to prepare gluten-free, organic, vegan, and other specialty meals as needed
- Maintain clean and organized food storage areas
- Monitor equipment and food temperatures consistently
- Maintain a sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Model and ensure proper personal hygiene for yourself and food service personnel
- Manage appropriate portion control for all meals served

Required Qualifications
Licensure, Education & Experience
- Previous dietary or kitchen experience preferred; willingness to learn and attend required facility trainings is welcomed
- SERVSAFE certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
