Adult IOP Therapist – Day Program (Mental Health IOP)
Location: High Focus Centers – Pottstown, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (In-Person)
Salary: $53,000 – $55,000 per year (based on experience and credentials)
About the Role
High Focus Centers in Pottstown, PA is a leading provider of outpatient treatment services for adults struggling with mental health and co-occurring disorders. Our evidence-based programs and dedicated team of professionals are committed to supporting individuals on their path to recovery.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Counselor/Therapist to join our Adult Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (MH IOP) team. If you are passionate about helping individuals manage mental health challenges in a structured outpatient setting, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for adults in the Mental Health IOP program
- Conduct intake assessments and Level of Care Assessments as needed
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and clinical staff
- Provide support for transition planning and outpatient aftercare
- Maintain ongoing communication with families and outside providers as appropriate
- Attend interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate client care
- Ensure timely documentation of clinical services and insurance reviews
- Assist with collection of client co-pays when needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related human services field (with clinical internship completed)
- Prior experience in mental health or co-occurring disorder treatment preferred
- Experience working with adult populations preferred
- DBT experience preferred but not required
