Location: Pyramid Healthcare, Harford Facility 1015 Pulaski Hwy, Joppa, MD
About Us: Our Behavioral Health Technician serves in a direct care role, primarily responsible for interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Located in Harford County, Maryland, our Joppa Inpatient program provides treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co-occurring disorders, and features a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in Harford offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for psychiatry, addiction recovery, and mental disorder treatment. We provide supportive environments that empower patients to overcome life’s challenges and reclaim their health and well-being.
Pay: $15/hour before shift differentials
Shift Differentials:
- 1st Shift (Saturday and Sunday): $1.00
- 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday): $1.00
- 2nd Shift (Saturday and Sunday): $1.50
- 3rd Shift (Monday - Friday): $1.50
- 3rd Shift (Saturday and Sunday): $1.50
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program.
- Maintain accurate client documentation.
- Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
- Coordinate client activities.
- Follow the objectives of treatment plans and address client-specific needs.
- Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide appropriate responses, including crisis intervention.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
- Assist with the dietary needs of clients.
- Complete all required training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
License, Education, & Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Behavioral health or general healthcare experience preferred.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
