Full-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Location: High Focus Centers – Center City, Philadelphia, PA

High Focus Centers, a premier provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment, is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team in Center City Philadelphia. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide psychiatric care to adolescents and adults in a structured outpatient setting focused on mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• This is a fully in-person position located in our Center City Philadelphia office.

Responsibilities

As a Full-Time PMHNP, you will:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions.
• Monitor client progress, review lab results, and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
• Prepare discharge orders and prescriptions.
• Collaborate with therapists, medical staff, and other providers to ensure integrated, high-quality care.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to the treatment team.
• Participate in peer review and quality assurance initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Support continuous improvement in psychiatric services and program operations.

Qualifications

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Pennsylvania required.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in psychiatric care preferred.
• Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of CARF, DDAP, and Office of Mental Health standards.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and ethical practice standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills.

• Ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care in an outpatient setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and collaborative decision-making skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
