Kitchen Worker (Full-Time) – Behavioral Healthcare Facility
Location: York, PA
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, including weekends
Pay: $15.00 per hour

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dependable and motivated Kitchen Worker to join our Dietary Team in York, PA. Our facility provides inpatient and residential treatment for adults receiving care for substance use disorders. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
Prepare salads, desserts, and other meal components
Stock kitchen and dining areas with beverages, supplies, and food items
Support the Lead Cook with daily meal preparation and service
Serve meals to clients in a timely and professional manner
Follow established menus and food safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, serving, and dining areas
Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Monitor and record food and refrigeration temperatures
Receive, inspect, and properly store food deliveries
Complete general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and mopping
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred
ServSafe certification preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Flexible schedule, including weekend availability
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
