We are seeking a Data Science Intern to work directly with Director, Infrastructure Projects and focus on Python Automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert existing Excel tools into reliable Python scripts or applications.
• Translate formulas and macros from Excel into scalable code.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand requirements and improve tool usability.
• Identify and develop innovative solutions to improve workflows and address pain points.
• Document scripts, workflows, and user guidelines for clarity and usability.
• Design and implement automated tests for the developed scripts.

Education and Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework or projects involving Python and Data analysis.
• Prior experience converting Excel workflows, building automation scripts, or developing software tools is a plus.

Specific Skills/Abilities

• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, and visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Ability to understand and convert Excel logic into code.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure reusability and maintainability.
• Experience automating data tasks with CSV/JSON formats.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Background or coursework in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain and business concepts is a plus.
