About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and visionary Fulfillment Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented engineers in revolutionizing our fulfillment systems. This role involves driving innovation and transformation across core areas, including Order Management (OMS), Inventory Management, Warehouse Management (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). In this role, you will oversee the development, support, and optimization of solutions that streamline fulfillment operations, enhance the fulfillment experience, and deliver measurable business impact. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, team leadership, and strategic planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, product, and algorithms, to design and implement scalable systems that meet the demands of a rapidly evolving business landscape.

  • You will drive initiatives to modernize fulfillment systems, improve workflows, and reduce inefficiencies.
  • You will act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on team progress, challenges, and milestones.
  • You will find, hire, and develop people that compliment each other as a diverse, inclusive team.
  • You will facilitate technical design discussions, remove blockers and align stakeholders.
  • You will inspire an atmosphere of continuous improvement by serving as a coach, mentor, and technical advisor.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have experience with warehouse management systems, order management systems, transportation management systems, distribution center software, or similar solutions.
  • You bring 3+ years of experience building and scaling real-time solutions, including 1-2+ years managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Your experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones is a strong plus.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering impactful, customer-focused solutions aligned with business objectives
  • You have extensive hands-on experience with one of the widely used programming languages, such as Golang, Java, or similar.
  • You are passionate about mentoring team members and supporting their professional growth.
  • You prioritize clear, honest communication and build strong, collaborative teams based on trust and autonomy.
  • You excel at setting and communicating clear priorities to your team and cross-functional partners.
  • You are flexible, pragmatic, and committed to building high-quality solutions that meet user needs.
  • You have experience refining development processes to improve team efficiency and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, location, and performance.This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. Salary Range

$157,800 - $232,000 USD
