Our Stylist role is a remote, hourly, part-time role

As a Stylist at Stitch Fix, you’ll help clients look and feel their best by creating personalized style experiences that go beyond the box. You will leverage both live and asynchronous messaging to deepen relationships and drive retention, helping clients build confidence and trust in their personal style.

Your expertise, warm communication style, and style know-how will make the client feel like they have a trusted stylist at their fingertips. Whether you’re offering advice for a special occasion, helping a client complete a look, or introducing new items they’ll love, you will deliver joy and style every step of the way.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Provide expert style guidance across various and evolving channels (messaging, chat, video) and our in-house styling platform, responding to client requests and creating personalized looks.
  • Create styled assortments by leveraging client profiles, preferences, past purchases, style goals, and our ever-fresh inventory.
  • Build relationships with clients across all shapes, sizes, gender identities, style spectrums, and lifestyles.
  • Be at the forefront of our personalized client experience, crafting unique "Fixes" that delight and inspire. Your public-facing stylist profile, featuring your photo, will be central to building client relationships and may be used in Stitch Fix marketing to showcase the human element of our service.
  • Meet and exceed performance goals, client satisfaction, and productivity metrics.
  • Identify new opportunities to drive client retention and stylist-customer connection, sharing insights with the team.
  • Collaborate and grow by participating in Stylist training and regular check-ins to continuously improve your craft.
  • Stay up-to-date on company updates, fashion trends, and new platform features.

We’re excited about you because

  • You have 2+ years of client-facing styling or apparel experience, and you're enthusiastic about fashion. You are dedicated to creating positive customer interactions that leave people feeling great
  • You consistently exceed performance goals and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving remote work environment.
  • You have excellent written communication skills and a knack for building rapport and trust in a virtual environment.
  • Your previous experience demonstrates your comfort and expertise in styling across all body types and for all occasions.
  • You're adept at rapidly adopting new tools, technologies, and processes, consistently integrating them into your workflow with minimal downtime.
  • You have a reliable computer with a Chrome browser, high-speed cable or fiber internet (minimum 10 Mbps), and familiarity with G Suite (Docs, Gmail), Slack, and Zoom, or the ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • You're skilled at managing your time effectively, ensuring punctual attendance, accurate timekeeping, and productive work habits to meet all operational requirements.
  • You're able to consistently meet the 10-20 hour weekly requirement for this part-time, hourly, Flex Tier Stylist role, with scheduling flexibility to align with client demand as directed by Stitch Fix.
  • You actively seek out feedback and are committed to continuous improvement for yourself, your clients, and your team.

We're currently not hiring stylists in Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and all Non-State US Territories.

Compensation

This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Hourly Rate

$16.50 - $16.50 USD
