About the Role

As a Stylist at Stitch Fix, you’ll help clients look and feel their best by creating personalized style experiences that go beyond the box. You’ll leverage both live and asynchronous messaging to deepen client relationships and drive retention, helping clients build confidence and trust in their personal style.

Your style expertise, warm communication, and ability to create highly personalized experiences will help clients feel like they have a trusted Stylist at their fingertips. This is a remote, hourly, part-time Flex Tier Stylist role requiring 10–20 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility to align with client demand as directed by Stitch Fix.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert style guidance across evolving client channels, including messaging, chat, video, and our in-house styling platform, responding to client requests and creating personalized looks that build confidence and trust.
  • Create thoughtfully styled assortments by leveraging client profiles, preferences, past purchases, style goals, and our ever-fresh inventory, crafting unique Fixes that delight and inspire clients across all shapes, sizes, gender identities, style spectrums, occasions, and lifestyles.
  • Build meaningful client relationships through personalized interactions and a public-facing Stylist profile featuring your photo, which helps clients connect with you and may also be used in Stitch Fix marketing to showcase the human element of our service.
  • Deliver against performance, productivity, and client satisfaction goals while identifying opportunities to strengthen client retention and Stylist-client connections and sharing insights with the broader team.
  • Develop your styling expertise by participating in training and regular check-ins, staying current on company updates and fashion trends, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative styling community that embraces diverse styles and continuous feedback.

Technology is an important part of how you’ll deliver personalized experiences at scale. You’ll use Stitch Fix’s in-house styling platform and other digital tools to understand client preferences, create personalized recommendations, communicate with clients, and work efficiently in a remote environment.

You’ll be expected to quickly learn and apply new technologies, including evolving AI-enabled tools and features, as they are introduced.
