About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented paralegal with a proven track record in 33 & 40 Act products to support the Legal & Compliance team. You will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel to assist in a full range of legal, regulatory, and commercial matters for our growing suite of investment products, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while facilitating the smooth operation of all legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Filings and Compliance
- Prepare and support general filings for 33 Act Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) and 40 Act Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), including entity formation and dissolution, registration statements, 34 Act filings, and financial statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, correspondence, and organizational documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Due Diligence
- Assist in compliance matters, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), due diligence, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to compliance protocols and regulatory standards.
Contract Review and Documentation:
- Review and analyze NDAs, trust agreements, custody agreements, brokerage agreements, authorized participant agreements, and similar documentation.
- Assist with closing transactions by drafting and creating memoranda, corporate resolutions, and closing certificates.
Document Management:
- Organize and maintain standard commercial agreements and NDAs to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Support development and implementation of document management systems and processes.
Special Projects and Support:
- Provide support for special projects as assigned by the Senior Legal Counsel, contributing to the overall success of the Legal & Compliance department.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively address potential legal and compliance issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience with 33 & 40 Act products; ETF/ETP experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for investment products.
- Knowledge and interest in digital assets are a plus but not required.

This role is based in New York, and will be expected to work from our New York office in a hybrid model Monday - Wednesday.
Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
