Events and Operations Assistant
Are you the kind of person who lights up at the chance to plan multi-day events and actually loves the hustle of logistics?
Are you strangely at your best when 15 moving parts of a project all need your attention — yesterday?
Would you be proud to play the behind-the-scenes hero helping teachers thrive by feeling supported and connected at every event you pull off?
Background
We help good people be great teachers. This role specifically supports the facilitation of in-person and virtual conference-style events.
We need someone who can plan events for 60-120 people. This means booking hotels and meeting space, coordinating meals, coordinating airfare and ground transportation.
Let's be honest - working with hotels and food vendors these days is not easy. Service hasn’t recovered since COVID, so you HAVE to be on top of all the details to make sure our wonderful, amazing customers can focus on what’s important to them.
This job can be a logistical nightmare for the wrong person - and a planning, fantastical dream for the right person.
If you want to be in charge of planning, running, and managing events for teachers, this is the job for you.
If that doesn’t automatically sound like a fun job - PLEASE APPLY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Also, we love hiring former teachers. Teachers are awesome.
