The Role:
The Modern Workplace Engineer is a hands-on contributor supporting the implementation, operation, and modernization of TEAM’s workplace technology environment. This role works across Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, and enterprise infrastructure to maintain reliable technology while supporting the Unified Tenant initiative and broader IT transformation efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Defender.
- Manage endpoint provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance, and device lifecycle activities.
- Support Azure infrastructure, networking, identity integrations, and enterprise connectivity across corporate and remote environments.
- Support Unified Tenant migration activities, including discovery, application and integration mapping, migration planning, execution, and post-migration support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft 365, endpoint, infrastructure, and enterprise communications platforms.
- Partner with IT and Security teams to support platform security, reliability, and standardization across brands and environments.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to automation and process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 3–7+ years of experience in IT engineering, infrastructure, or modern workplace environments
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and basic networking concepts
- Experience with endpoint management and device lifecycle operations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across enterprise IT platforms
- Ability to work in both operational support and project-based environments
- Experience with tenant migrations or large-scale IT transformations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams

The expected California Pay Range for this position:
$125,000 - $135,000 USD
