Curriculum Management Specialist

What We’re Looking For:
The Curriculum Management team manages relationships for Learning with academic leadership across 2U degree and alternative credential programs. We lead strategic planning for each program, as well as data-driven evaluation and continuous improvement efforts, providing strategic direction and support for the partner, the program, and the curriculum, in alignment with 2U business priorities.
The Curriculum Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the team by executing on business priorities and helping to shape strategic best practices across the Curriculum Management team. They will contribute to refining and adapting operational processes to improve the team’s workflow, participate in projects that increase the team’s impact, and maintain the integrity of data related to the health and evolution of each program’s curriculum.
To contribute successfully, the Curriculum Management Specialist will need to be a results-oriented, driven professional with fine-tuned analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with the highest caliber of professionalism to stakeholders.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Data-Management:
- Independently analyze, synthesize, and maintain curriculum & course records across multiple systems (Jira, Workday, ClickUp, Google Suite) for accuracy & consistency
- Proactively create reports for program level audits, address inconsistencies, and problem solve for optimization of data
- Work across portfolio teams to synthesize and compile data for utilization in internal and external leadership presentations
- Create summary dashboards of program, course, and cost data over time
Team Coordination & Management:
- Schedule meetings, work with the Portfolio Director to confirm and distribute agenda, take/share notes and recordings, follow up on action items
- Work independently to update team documents with updated processes, communications and assignments
- Update and maintain team resourcing, allocation, and assignment records- (Program distribution doc, Stakeholders doc, NPI dash, Lucid Charts)
- Work proactively to create and standardize training/onboarding docs for internal team use and stakeholder training
- Manage team Google space and slack channels and share/distribute action items to help provide timely guidance and support, and to proactively drive the creation and emphasis on best practices
- Additional operational and administrative support, as needed
Process and Project Support:
- Help to drive operational initiatives by setting meetings, clarifying action items, creating agendas, and following through with next steps for each.
- Create, pull and distribute reports for leadership analysis
- Evaluate workflows and documentation and make recommendations for growth and optimization of processes
- Create and update process documents and schedule training sessions with varied stakeholders
- Maintain various communication channels, and create clear and precise documentation to continuously inform and improve our internal/external collaborations and our workflows
Stakeholder Support:
- Standardize/brand key Curriculum Management documents for school leadership
- Create, maintain and share partner presentation materials
- Assist team in the communication and resolution of open issues, and support communications with internal stakeholders, and within various systems, as needed
- Maintain program and course level data points across systems (Jira, ClickUp, Workday, Google Sheets) in partnership with Portfolio Director, Curriculum Management
- Audit and update program and course level data regularly across systems
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of experience, with roles including responsibilities related to client management, operations or asset management
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects successfully
- Strong analytical skills
- Consistent excellence in communications, both written and verbal, is required
- Excellent computer skills required, coupled with the ability to quickly learn new software suites and functionality
- Must be able to set and manage priorities skillfully and manage time effectively
- Must be able to work autonomously to achieve defined project goals
- Must be able to build and maintain successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Must have strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and consistent follow through
- Must be able to work successfully and independently in a fast-paced and rapidly-evolving environment
- Strong familiarity with web-based delivery and video technology
