Responsibilities 

• Lead and facilitate all Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. 
• Coach the team on Agile principles and practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum framework and guiding the team towards continuous improvement. 
• Identify and remove impediments or blockers that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary to ensure smooth project flow. 
• Shield the team from external distractions and influences, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality work during each sprint. 
• Foster collaboration and communication within the team and across departments, promoting a culture of transparency, trust, and accountability. 
• Assist the team in making decisions by facilitating discussions, gathering relevant information, and ensuring alignment with project goals. 
• Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the Product Backlog is maintained and prioritized, reflecting the latest business priorities. 
• Monitor and track the team's progress towards sprint goals, ensuring transparency and visibility into project status for stakeholders. 
• Encourage self-organization within the team, empowering team members to take ownership of tasks and make decisions collectively. 
• Actively seek feedback from team members and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance team performance. 

Requirements 

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. 
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a professional services environment, preferably with a track record of successfully leading Agile teams. 
• Thorough understanding of Scrum framework, Agile principles, and methodologies, with the ability to apply them effectively in a dynamic environment. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and leadership. 
• Exceptional conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address conflicts and facilitate constructive discussions to reach consensus.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving common goals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Basic understanding of software development processes and technologies, enabling effective communication with development teams and stakeholders.
• Embrace the principles of servant leadership, putting the needs of the team first and serving as a servant-leader to facilitate their success.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated on industry trends and best practices in Agile and Scrum.
