The Role

Based in our Chippendale Head Office, just 10 minutes from Central Station, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to join our HelloFresh tech team. Our team currently works in a hybrid setup, coming into the office 3 days a week, but we are a company that advocates flexibility and supports a balance that works best for you.

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development, particularly in Python and Go. If you have a passion for architectural design and best practices in software engineering, this is the role for you. As a key player, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of microservices for our SCM platform. You'll have the chance to work on global tools that can make a significant impact across multiple markets. You will work closely with the product owner to define the product roadmap and ensure that your team consistently delivers high-quality, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Backend Focus: Architect, design, and develop microservices using Python and Go for our SCM platform.
  • Collaborate and Lead: Work with the product owner to shape the product delivery roadmap and uphold top engineering standards.
  • Mentor and Guide: Provide guidance through coaching, pair programming, and code reviews to help your team achieve excellence.
  • Innovate and Improve: Utilize agile methodologies and continuous improvement techniques to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
