Senior Manager Nutrition (f/m/d/x)

The role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Nutrition with a Registered Dietitian designation to support and raise the bar on nutritional excellence for our newest brand, Factor: a healthy, ready-to-eat meal delivery service. 

In this role, you will ensure our meals meet the dietary needs of our customers, develop and manage a nutrition coaching program for customers and prospects, and manage the nutrition facts database of all of our products. Reporting into the Head of Product, you’ll work closely with our Culinary, Kitchen Ops, Procurement, and Regulatory teams to ensure we’re delivering the best possible product every week, and help us build the future of the ready-to-eat category in Europe!

What you’ll do

• Oversee and maintain the nutritional database for all recipes and ingredients, ensuring accuracy and proactively identifying opportunities for us to improve the nutritional quality of our products 
• Maintain, clarify, and improve our internal nutrition standards, conduct competitive benchmarking, and lead projects to improve nutrition analysis assumptions and inputs
• Collaborate closely with our Culinary team to review and approve recipe formulations, provide guidance on ingredient and method choices, and optimize recipes for nutrition, performance, and customer value
• Approve weekly menus, new SKUs, and ingredient substitutions from a nutritional perspective, coordinating with Sourcing and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in labeling systems
• Develop, manage, and scale our nutrition consultation program, including hiring and overseeing part-time dietitians, reporting on program quality and effectiveness, and hosting customer-facing sessions as needed
• Respond to customer nutrition inquiries and share customer insights to inform product and content strategy
• Create nutrition-focused content for PR, social media, and customer education, and support marketing and growth initiatives with credible, engaging messaging
• Advise on nutrition and ingredient claims, ensuring they are substantiated, accurate, and aligned with brand positioning and regulatory expectations

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of experience working as a Registered Dietician; active certification/licence in the EU
• Highly knowledgeable about a wide range of dietary lifestyles, such as GLP-1 support, ketogenic diet, low/slow carb diet, vegan and vegetarian diets, etc. 
• A strong understanding of local and broader pan-European dietary trends, regulations, and restrictions; a passion for staying up to speed on the most current research on the science of nutrition
• Experience working in a client-facing role, in which trust-building, coaching, and guidance were paramount to success 
• A pragmatic approach: you believe that “perfect” is the enemy of “better”, and are able to balance the priorities of many different departments to help us improve
• A strong project management toolkit: you are highly organized and detail-oriented, with well-developed strategies for never missing a deadline or overlooking a key detail
• An entrepreneurial streak: you enjoy working in small teams, taking ownership of new opportunities, and are constantly looking for ways to improve upon things
• Experience working in recipe development (or new product development) is a plus
