Sr. Supply Chain Planner – PHF Category Europe (f/m/x)
The role: What's in the Box
As a Sr. Supply Chain Planner, you will join our Supply Chain Operations team to help manage the weekly cycle of purchasing the ingredients that fill our HelloFresh boxes. This is a hands-on role where you independently oversee the end-to-end ordering process, from delivery scheduling and shortage management to driving improvements in supplier performance.
You will act as a primary point of contact for our partners, ensuring that every shipment meets our standards for quality and timing. Your day-to-day focus centres on hitting clear performance targets, specifically maintaining high OTIFIQ (On Time, In Full, In Quality) levels while actively working to reduce error rates and food waste. We are looking for a practical problem-solver who enjoys taking ownership of a fast-moving process and contributing to a more efficient, sustainable supply chain.
What you’ll do: The Recipe
- Portfolio Management: Oversee mid-long term purchase orders for your European (multi-market) suppliers, ensuring all ingredients meet our delivery timelines, quality standards and match our operational set-up.
- Operational Point of Contact: Serve as the primary link between suppliers and our production, product and FSQA teams to coordinate all planning activities and operational matters. Ensuring enablement and performance tracking of new ingredients (planning frequency, errors & waste) as well as product substitution management
- Relationship Development: Build and maintain collaborative, long-term partnerships with our supplier base through the onboarding process, supplier performance reviews, supplier visits and regular contact.
- Reporting: You own your KPI’s and ensure that targets are met, perform root cause analysis and preventive actions and present this in WBR’s. You flag structural challenges, follow-up with suppliers/internal teams to prevent situations from happening again
- Order Accuracy: Monitor order flows closely to maintain high service levels and minimize discrepancies in the supply chain.
- Project ownership: Initiating and managing larger-scale end-to-end projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement: Identify and implement practical improvements to refine our supply chain workflows and increase efficiency.
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
- Educational Background: Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a fast-paced supply chain related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel; you are comfortable using data to track performance and inform your decisions.
- Project management: proven track record in project management; Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage
- Agility: A quick learner who adapts easily to new processes and remains solution-oriented when priorities shift.
- Operational Rigour: Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a disciplined approach to managing complex ordering schedules.
- Proactivity: The ability to anticipate potential issues and react effectively to unexpected supply chain challenges.
- Communication: Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Dutch is an advantage.
Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. There are many different ways of developing skills, and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
Are you the missing ingredient? If this sounds like a tasty opportunity, we’d be excited to hear from you.
