Team Lead Product Development

Within the Development department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of your own team. You will coordinate the work and ensure that agreed-upon results are delivered. Caring for your colleagues is key; you will give them the personal attention they deserve and contribute to their development and growth within Development. You don’t have to do this alone: within Development, you’ll work closely with the other team leads, the Development Manager, and the Director of Development and Product Management.

The Team

The 4PS Development team now consists of approximately 75 enthusiastic Software Developers, Software Testers, DevOps Engineers, and Documentation Specialists/Translators.

A Team Lead is responsible for leading one or more teams. Colleagues in Development describe the atmosphere as engaged, informal, open, and professional. To organize work and collaborate as a team, we use methods such as Scrum and Kanban.

Your Role as Product Development Team Lead

Coach

You know your team members inside and out and coach them to make the most of their talents. You encourage the team to take ownership. You invest in development discussions with your colleagues and guide them in their career development.

Motivator

You help the team deliver strong performance. You help the team understand the direction we’re heading and communicate and prioritize goals for the team. You identify what’s needed to get the work done and take timely action to address those needs.

Communicator

As a Team Lead, you have many stakeholders within 4PS. In addition to your own team and the development department, you work closely with product management, support, and the business units. Communication, clarity, transparency, and predictability are central to this.

Project Manager

In addition to your team lead responsibilities, your knowledge and experience will also involve you in and make you responsible for cross-team initiatives and projects aimed at improving the Development organization and the quality of our products and services. In addition to operational tasks, you will therefore also be active at the tactical and strategic levels. Your vision for improving and optimizing processes contributes to this.

Who are you?

• You have experience leading software development teams and/or a development organization;
• You have a clear vision of Agentic Engineering’s role within software development and know how to guide your team toward that vision;
• You have a strong personality, are tenacious, and lead change and improvement initiatives;
• You know how to best deploy and manage specialists based on their knowledge and experience;
• You are approachable, have a genuine interest in the team, and are a good listener;
• You know what you want to achieve with a team and are able to focus on that;
• You know yourself very well, but you are always open to feedback and eager to learn from others;
• You naturally build strong relationships with your team and colleagues;
• You are interested in staying up to date on important and innovative technological developments.
