As a Channel Activation Specialist: Social Media at 5WPR, you will be at the forefront of executing and optimizing social media campaigns for our clients. Your role will center on bringing brand strategies to life through organic and paid social media efforts, ensuring maximum engagement, reach, and impact. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support the planning, execution, and performance analysis of social media initiatives, aligning with client goals and industry best practices.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Channel Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with the Account and Strategy teams to understand client objectives, target audiences, and key messaging.
- Assist in developing social media activation plans across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish measurement frameworks to track success and optimize performance.
Content & Campaign Execution:
- Support the execution of organic and paid social media campaigns, ensuring timely deployment of creative assets, copy, and audience targeting.
- Work closely with creative, content, and design teams to develop engaging social-first assets, including static posts, videos, Stories, and Reels.
- Schedule, publish, and monitor posts using social media management tools while ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign objectives.
- Engage with audiences in real time by monitoring comments, messages, and trends, assisting in community management efforts.
Performance Analysis & Optimization:
- Track and analyze social media campaign performance using native platform analytics and third-party tools.
- Leverage data insights to inform optimization strategies, including content adjustments, targeting refinements, and budget reallocation.
- Stay up to date on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness and client success.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including media buyers, performance marketers, and PR specialists, to align social strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
- Provide clear and concise updates to internal stakeholders and clients on social media performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to client presentations by showcasing social media impact, engagement trends, and opportunities for growth.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Assist in building strong client relationships by advising on social media best practices and performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate with clients to align content strategies with their business goals and audience expectations.
- Support in presenting reports, insights, and recommendations to clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of social media activations.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for social media marketing and a deep understanding of platform-specific nuances.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) and analytics platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Creative and strategic thinking with a data-driven mindset to enhance engagement and ROI.
Here’s what you have:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in channel activation, social media, or digital marketing, preferably within a digital agency or marketing environment.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, search, display, email, and content marketing.
- Familiarity with campaign tracking, measurement, and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
- Developing analytical skills, with the potential to interpret data and derive actionable insights to optimize channel performance.
- Good project management and organizational skills, with the ability to contribute to managing multiple campaigns simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Developing communication and collaboration skills, with the potential to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset, demonstrating an interest in staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in channel activation and campaign management.

$60,000 - $70,000 USD
