5W is seeking a smart, self-motivated Growth & Outreach Coordinator to support our new business development efforts across key sectors, including Tech, Corporate, Consumer and Digital. Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research prospective clients using tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other lead databases.
- Outreach Planning: Build and maintain a proactive outreach calendar that maps efforts to business development priorities, industry trends and upcoming opportunities.
- Strategic Outreach: Execute targeted outreach via email, Constant Contact and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads and set meetings for the senior new business team.
- Campaign Execution: Use email platforms (e.g., Constant Contact) to build, send, and track targeted outreach campaigns. Assist with building and updating email outreach sequences and messaging frameworks as needed.
- Third-Party Coordination: Support and help manage the agency’s external lead generation partners/SDRs—tracking their activity, reviewing outreach performance, and ensuring alignment with internal goals (with oversight from senior leadership).
- Market Monitoring: Stay informed on industry news, media moves, and vertical-specific developments to identify high-potential leads.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with the new business and marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging, targeting, and lead quality. Work closely with senior leadership across account teams to identify high-potential growth industries and prioritize target sectors accordingly.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and lead progression in our CRM system (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
- Reporting: Deliver weekly reports summarizing outreach activity, performance metrics (open rates, responses, meetings booked), and trends.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1.5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role—preferably in a PR, marketing, or digital agency (Public relations and/or digital marketing experience strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation goals
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)
- Basic understanding of business development processes within a PR/digital marketing firm
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft tailored messaging and build trust with prospects and internal stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Creative thinker with the ability to help shape compelling outreach narratives
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead generation platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
