Account Director, Digital – Corporate

As an Account Director, Digital, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing multi-channel marketing campaigns for our clients. With your expertise in digital channels and campaign management, you will drive the success of client campaigns by effectively activating and leveraging various marketing channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and deliver exceptional results that align with client objectives and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Digital Strategy & Executive Counsel

  • Lead digital strategy across complex corporate reputation, executive visibility and integrated communications programs.
  • Serve as senior digital counsel to clients, executives and internal account leadership.
  • Build executive visibility and thought leadership programs from the ground up, including positioning, audience strategy, content pillars, tone of voice, platform strategy, editorial frameworks and measurement.
  • Define the role digital should play within broader communications programs and ensure strategy ladders up to business and reputation objectives.
  • Counsel clients on where executives and brands should participate, which conversations they should own and when they should stay out.
  • Lead executive immersion sessions, workshops, strategic planning sessions and senior-level presentations.

Content & Platform Leadership

  • Set the strategic direction for executive and corporate content programs social media, video and emerging platforms.
  • Develop differentiated executive positioning that balances company priorities with credible, human and ownable POVs.
  • Lead strategic audits, benchmarking and content analyses and translate findings into clear frameworks and testing roadmaps.
  • Provide senior editorial oversight across executive content, playbooks, strategies and high-profile deliverables.
  • Guide experimentation with new formats, vertical video, creator-led executive content, paid thought leadership and emerging platform opportunities.
  • Establish repeatable content frameworks and best practices that can scale across accounts.

Measurement, Innovation & Emerging Channels

  • Define measurement frameworks that connect digital performance to communications, reputation and audience objectives.
  • Translate performance into senior-level strategic recommendations and program evolution.
  • Advise clients on emerging platform behavior, AI-driven discovery and generative engine optimization.

Integrated Communications Leadership

  • Partner with senior account leads to connect earned media, executive visibility, corporate social, influencer, paid amplification and content strategy.
  • Identify how key corporate narratives can be extended across channels and sustained beyond individual earned moments.
  • Provide digital counsel on major announcements, reputational issues, executive positioning and high-visibility moments.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across digital, PR, creative, influencer, video and paid media.

Client Leadership, Team Development & Growth

  • Serve as a senior strategic partner to client leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead high-level client presentations, recommendations and difficult strategic conversations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and develop new digital scopes.
  • Scope programs, determine appropriate staffing and protect teams from work outside agreed deliverables.
  • Lead and mentor AS and AE talent, developing their strategic thinking, writing, client counsel and platform expertise.
  • Contribute to new business through audits, strategic POVs, pitch development, scope creation and presentations.
  • Help establish processes, standards and intellectual property that strengthen the corporate digital practice.

Here’s what you’ll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in channel activation, campaign management, or digital marketing within a digital agency or marketing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PR and digital marketing channels, including social media, search, display, influencer, email, and content marketing.
  • Solid understanding of campaign tracking, measurement, and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to optimize channel performance.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset, staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in channel activation and campaign management.
