In addition to our commercial real estate efforts, we also evaluate company acquisitions primarily in the greater Nashville, TN area.
 

The opportunity

The role of a Senior HVAC Technician involves highly skilled and experienced work in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This individual is responsible for troubleshooting issues, providing technical expertise, and collaborating closely with the Property Manager and Property Services Manager. They will manage work orders assigned by the Property Services Manager and must work autonomously and responsibly with minimal supervision, adhering to all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain buildings, tenant spaces, and common areas in optimal condition.

What you'll do

  • Conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure that HVAC systems are running efficiently and safely
  • Installing and repairing ductwork and ventilation systems to ensure proper airflow and indoor air quality
  • Adding refrigerant to cooling systems and checking for leaks
  • Testing electrical circuits and components to ensure that they are working correctly
  • Install appliances and equipment
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. chillers/boilers, plumbing, HVAC)
  • Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations or assigned projects
  • Report issues to the Property Manager
  • Knowledge of the inner workings of each property to ensure proper upkeep

 

Who you are

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience with basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Experience using hand and electrical tools and ability to read technical manuals and drawings
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with property managers, building owners, and other team members.
  • HVAC Certification such as NATE, HVAC Excellence, EPA 608 and 609, ASHRAE, etc
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and MaintainX (or similar software)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Hourly pay range

$25 - $38 USD
